After Sonam Kapoor’s debut in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Saawariyaa' she has bagged quite a few lucrative offers. She will be seen opposite Abhishek in Rakeysh Mehra's Dilli 6 and now sources claim that Sonam will also be doing a film opposite Hrithik Roshan which will be directed by Rakesh Roshan.
Earlier there were talks of casting Deepika Padukone for the female role in this film, but Rakesh finally seems to have found the perfect girl to star opposite Hrithik. And it is none other than newcomer Sonam Kapoor. Rakesh is keen to cast Sonam and hence he visited her father Anil Kapoor and spoke to him about casting her.
A source said "Anil was thrilled that Rakesh wanted to cast Sonam. He immediately agreed that Sonam be paired opposite Hrithik in the film." Rakesh was very impressed with Sonam's performance in Saawariyaa and she also suits the role of his character and hence he is keen to cast her. A source further adds "he feels Sonam will look good with Hrithik. He also wants the Hrithik-Sonam pair to become popular before the Abhishek-Sonam pair in Dilli 6."
Rakesh Roshan or Anil Kapoor however refused to confirm whether Sonam and Hrithik have been paired together.
